Victory Community Health Centre - Free Services

Monthly Warrant of Fitness Health Checks - last Thursday of each month between 8.30 and 10.30am
An evening session could be held if people require it. So far a number of health checks have led to GP referrals.

Hearing Assessment / tests and Hearing Aid Cleaning
The next date is 31st July 1pm to 4.30pm

Cervical Screening - 1st Tuesday afternoon of every month.
Free for women who are:

between 40 and 70 years,

never had a smear or overdue,

Maori or Pacific

Assistance with accessing any services that will improve people's health and wellbeing

Assistance to enroll with a GP

Sit and Be Fit class on Tuesday mornings 10.00 to 10.45am and
Support your Walk sessions Tuesdays 2-3pm and Thursdays 9.30 to 10.30

Bi Monthly Community Health Links Meetings

These meetings are normally on the last Thursday of every 2nd month. However, the next one will be:

A Combined networking meeting with other Community Health Groups from around the DHB region

Thursday 3rd July 12 to 2.30pm @ Victory Community Health Centre
Lunch provided by NMDHB

It will be facilitated by David Booth, Healthy Communities Coordinator.

This will be an opportunity to discuss:

Roles of Community Health Groups

Relationship between these groups and DHB and PHO

Any other topics that people bring to the meeting
