A registered nurse can assist clients to access with services for health and wellbeing and to provide free health checks.  A general practitioner is available by appointment only as an outreach clinic from 96 Waimea Rd.  A Centre Co-ordinator organises a variety of recreational activities for all age groups, including those with chronic health issues. There are health and social providers offering services to the community including Plunket, Independent Midwives, Respiratory, Diabetes and Work and Income.
