Offers a Day Programme to assist Tangata Whaiora to improve their life skills, strengthen their sense of identity, knowledge and understanding of their Maoritanga and help overcome social isolation. Provides cultural, social and craft activities on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week. Te Whare Mahana03 525 9624 Outreach (the Rural Mental Health Outreach Service): offers 24 hour crisis intervention, ongoing support, case management, and home- based support. Available only in Golden Bay, phone 03 525 7647. - Employment Service: assists with vocational planning and training, work placement, and runs a supported employment agency. Available only in Golden Bay, phone 03 525 7110. Residential Psychotherapy Programme: offers Dialectical Behavioural Therapy. A specialist psychotherapy programme which aims to help people who have not been able to find successful treatment options in mainstream.
