Nutritional assessment and advice for  weight management, type two diabetes, cardiovascular disease and other conditions for all ages.   Individual assessment and education as well as Group sessions can be arranged.  Community group presentations are also provided on request.


Physiotherapy, Golden Bay Community Hospital

Run weekly exercise class for all older people (60+) which includes falls prevention exercises. There is no cost for this class.   Physiotherapy services for adults and children with musculo skeletal, neurological and respiratory conditions. This is a NMDHB funded service on referral from a health professional. This service also covers women's health conditions.

Victory Community Health Centre

Offers a wide range of health and community services in social and recreational activities. A registered nurse can assist clients to access with services for health and wellbeing and to provide free health checks.  A general practitioner is available by appointment only as an outreach clinic from 96 Waimea Rd.  A Centre Co-ordinator organises a variety of recreational activities for all age groups, including those with chronic health issues. There are health and social providers offering services to the community including Plunket, Independent Midwives, Respiratory, Diabetes and Work and Income.

Emergency housing, Registered Nurse, General Practitioner clinic available as an outreach service from 96 Waimea Rd, Diabetes support in-home, social and youth workers, Whanau Ora, Palliative Care Services, Au Kati Kaipaipa, Rangatahi and Kaumata, Nutrition and Physical Activity support for individuals or in groups.
