A variety of free training through the Nelson Cancer Society (thanks to the generosity of the Nelson Community during Relay for Life and Daffodil Day) is due to occur in July.

All participants can issue exchange cards following participation in this one-day course

3 July: Motivational Interviewing*
4 July: Session to be delivered depending on interest and availability of trainer:

Motivational Interviewers Club

Some of you who have already completed Motivational Interviewing Training in the past have indicated that you would like the opportunity to meet together as a group from time to time to maintain and advance your skills and commitment to the process. With the specialist trainer (Corianne Simpson) coming to town in July, it might be an idea to kick off the initiation of a Motivational Interviewers Club for ongoing support and development.
