Nutritional assessment and advice for  weight management, type two diabetes, cardiovascular disease and other conditions for all ages.   Individual assessment and education as well as Group sessions can be arranged.  Community group presentations are also provided on request.

The Field Officer is available to provide hospital and home visits, information, education and support.  Free service providing advice on prevention and management and help on services available in the community.  Stroke Club offers social activities and support for ongoing rehabilitation. Membership fee applies and they meet twice a month.

Maori Disease State Management Nurse covering Motueka and Golden Bay region providing clinics, home visits, or group Awhi support  sessions. Available monthly in Golden Bay for individual or group appointments.  Primarily works with Maori families. Physical activity  programmes and support groups available.  A palliative care service is also available.
