D.U.M.P. encourages everyone to safely dispose of their unwanted,unused or out of date medicines.
- The campaign is run during the month of November
- "D.U.M.P" Bags will be available from pharmacies and GP practices
- Place unwanted medicines in the "D.U.M.P" Bag
- Answer a short anonymous questionnaire
- Take your bag to ANY pharmacy
- All returned medicine will be disposed of safely
This campaign is being run by Nelson Bays Primary Health during the month of November to promote a safer environment
Latest News - 10th November
The DUMP Campaign was "launched" on 2nd November, with a gathering of representatives from some community groups and organisations. The amount of DUMP bags returned so far has been very encouraging.The campaign will run for the month of November. Bags are available from pharmacies and GP Practices. Simply place with the unwanted medicines inside the bag, complete the survey, and return the bag to any pharmacy.
The campaign is being advertised on radio stations: Classic Hits (89.8FM), ZM (97.0FM), NewstalkZB (1341AM), Radiosport (549AM) and Hauraki (90.6FM).
