District Nursing

District nurses provide a comprehensive range of quality, patient focussed, professional and advanced nursing services that are primarily home based. In general, district nurses provide intensive and short term episodes of care to address patients≠ increased health care needs in collaboration with the wider interdisciplinary team.

District Nurses service the Nelson Tasman region including Wakefield and Tapawera. It is a 7 day service from 8am to 6 pm
